Internal Communications
Ugh, there’s a science to this, but I’m just trying to Dr. Suess about it. I’m not a scientist. I’m a multimedia sensory artist of voice and vision, okay. lol!
It’s Sunday. GOOD MORNING! I wasn’t going to blog a post or post a blog or whatever, but here I am. The blogging is wonderful for conditioning the exercise of writing for hours and hours. It is a discipline, and I’m kneading it into my brain folds. It’s easier to condition the motions with blog posts because they’re so self indulgent tehe. I’m all like, “Hey, it’s me, Blairsi! Let me tell you whats running through my mind today and why.” It’s probably fun if you have adhd wiring, because you just never know what’ll be next, but it’ll have some shimmer of novelty.
I was just rereading pathways of storylines from my upcoming novel, The Dream Elevator, (in case you haven’t heard ;)). I can be so hard on myself. Then, I’ll reread my work after not rereading those parts for a while (long enough that I’ve even forgotten what I’ve written) and bam, the magic trick I’m intending to happen on the reader, happens on me, and I’m like yesss! I’m doing it! It’s really what I want it to be… I mean, it’s not finished yet, and I’m not really sure how to… do that… finish it. but I WILL!!!! UGH.
I will… hopefully so soon… but then I will take some time to edit it…
So… It really hurts that my Dad is gone in the physical… Not everybody understands what the heck I’m doing or trying to do or anything. My dad did. He was going to be really great at editing my first novel with me… because he understood my writing style and the point of it. He understood the point to the branding of my own metaphorical language and really, it honors one we spoke to each other. We shared a sensitivity to like the shapes and dynamics of metaphorical speech and what you can convey between the lines of subtleties. Of course, I have plenty of people, relatives and friends, that can give me their notes while in my editing process. But none of them can replace the feedback from my Dad himself. FINE! It’s FINE! IT’S LIFE! and death. It’s how we have any calibration for meaning and reason. I will die, too! & so will you! Woot.. Woot.
Of course, I will, y’know, do some sort of unique personal mystical voodoo in attempt to get my dad’s notes from beyond, like channelled through me or something, but that’s definitely not an ideal reliable method for editing.
The Dream Elevator has an animated meditation qr code within somewhere, of course. It’s much more advanced than my picturebook versions and includes holotropic breathwork guidance. I think this is so fun. It’s fine if you’re not into it. You can just enjoy the book, the philosophically stimulating pathways and writing as it is. You don’t need to use the QR code or try the breathwork and imaginative meditative situation supplied on theme to your adventure…. but personally, I would think that’s so fun lol.
It’s meant to inspire that breathwork/meditation/mindfulness/sensory presence is fun, explorative, and creative. It is something you can customize, get imaginative with, even silly with, and regulate with. It’s a life skill for health, wellness, and calming down to design your dreams into reality because it hones how to trust your inner voice and curate your own precision around that internal communication. That internal communication is how you build the inner scaffolding necessary for homing a dream in reality. Ugh, there’s a science to this, but I’m just trying to Dr. Suess about it. I’m not a scientist. I’m a multimedia artist of words, voice and vision, okay. lol! If anything, I’m hoping to inspire kids, EVEN JUST ONE OF EM, to invent what’s next beyond artist, philosopher, beyond scientist… beyond shrodinger’s cat in the hat, and all the double slit attention engagement media experiments.
If I had to take a guess, what’s next~ is a fusion of multi-fields in one, like artist scientist philosopher, biologist priest engineer, etc. and for the novelty of cross-correlations in experience. That we’ll stop seeking objective truths to rule, and center decorating the world with the sincerity of our subjective ones. We should center sincere human sensory experience and mindful presence as the main cultural value instead of human production/consumption… What is cool is that we really could do that because we live in the technological age of artificial intelligence, robot production, even robot consumption… like we don’t need to value that as the be all and end all of human life or human worth, etc... CLEARLY! There’s no future in it lol. ITS NOT FUNNY! ha-ha..
I don’t know what’ll happen but we use to demand answers and plans. Our grandparents had scope for like forty years in their future- they committed to plans so early on. We don’t do that anymore. We pretend like it’s just fine that nobody knows what five years from now looks like. People use to know what their next twenty years looked like down to the penny. Frankly, people use to be more unified. They’d get the same newspaper as their neighbor and likely saw the same movies or tv shows as them, too, because there weren’t never ending choices of them. I think people were just… more on the same page than is averagely experienced nowadays.
Anyways, I’m working on the pathways about the “Dream Detective” in the Dream Elevator…(super fun part) I should get back to it… Also I need more coffee… Happy Sunday! Cheerio!
