The Motions
Needles & threads across a fabric of time. Their notions~ to thimbles of wisdom across dimensional lines.
I have a lot of theories about how you literally have to do the motions… For example, if you want the wisdom from all your great grandmothers, you ought to pull out the needle and thread.
Every time I’ve brought out the needle and thread, it’s like all the great ancestral women before me are like, “Oh hey you, yeah you, so while you’re here weaving the threads, lemme whisper all my secrets in your ear from times past.”
If you seek your great grandfathers’ knowledge, perhaps you go get your lures and fishing line. There is patience to it, and you don’t whine. There are little threads to weave, a knot for a bobber perhaps, with bait so Mother Nature agrees.
The theories are about the muscle memory… and how if you play at it right, you can access lil journals just for you, embedded in your flesh, bone, dna, cellular electro arrangements~ Nobody else can access it… so who else could it be for? Like it’s really all yours and it’s assuming there is more to our ancestral connections than we can perceptively account for.
^ I wrote this a couple years ago. Well, first of all, I love rereading my old writing. I often think, “oh right, okay, girl, go on…”, like totally forgetting having ever wrote this or that, but fascinated by it later.
I’m embroidering again and so pleased about it. It reminds me that I wrote this a couple years ago, and how I have my needle and threads out again, now. So many metaphors within the craft. Of course, I love that. It’s also just cozy, relaxing but still balanced with the right amount of stimulating.
Alas, I’m getting off track. I mean to discuss the potential science of what I wrote above. The motions… The muscle memories we can unlock revisiting some of the motions of this or that. I suppose it requires understanding how your body is severe serious intelligent information of biological natural advancement to levels beyond our own comprehension, really, despite how advanced we have come in understanding it~ it is still vastly a complex, even magical mystery.
Then, we also probably need to ground some philosophy~ of how you are every atom of your body~ it may seem like you’re not sometimes, like, as though you are separate from your body because it’s not like you can control everything voluntarily. I mean we don’t even truly understand the human body, fully. It is like a living collaboration of tiny atoms creating a crazy awesome complex reality observational cosmic life shelter… I don’t know why I just called it that. Haha. The human body.
Anyways, your body is solely in service to you, circulating energy for you, because of faith in your collective whole~ the sort of entity egregore that “you” are. It’s too many parts and pieces to count, really, but you are all that and I have theories!! Haha. So many theories. But this one particularly about accessing innate specific and precise wisdom within your body by going through motions, particular ancestral ones, and seeing what wisdom comes.
Think of it like “the motions” are a language itself. Dancers can typically speak that kind of jargon. Another thing to this theory is how “ritual” and “muscle memory” are like a multi-dimensional relationship, actually, lol but regardless of extra angles without visibility, it’s a sturdy reliable relationship. Rituals become muscle memory, muscle memory can be activated by rituals- and there’s so many varieties.
Examples; brushing your teeth every night. Going for a walk at sunset. Stopping to smell the flowers while you stroll. Warming up before sports practice. The flow of cooking an heirloom recipe. Or more serious formal rituals within ceremonies like, baptism, graduation, marriage, birth, death, etc.
I think it’s a language, ritualistic motions, that translates to even tiny building blocks of biology like cells. Repetitive motion reinforces neural pathways. The potential of epigenetic inheritance related to ancestral programming of stressors and the nervous system design related to sensorimotor intelligence.
I think we underestimate how much intelligence, energetic intentional consciousness of some kind, is actually within the tiny cosm. Blows my mind the scientific industry in general doesn’t really consider cellular consciousness a real thing, but yet… y’know, you really don’t have to tell your skin cells to heal themselves when you scrape your knee.
(Part of my brain starts going off about how crazy that the world would try to tell me cells don’t have consciousness when they literally like do everything for you, every individual that can say anything. I mean OH MY GOSH! Trillions of cells are operating the most mysteriously complex advanced system (human being) and all you gotta do is not fall off a cliff, drink enough water, feed yourself good food without getting too sunburned or cold. I just mean like while I have you here in my little parentheses italics text block; it is bloody insane that we’ve just undermined so much body intelligence in exchange for what? Are we to believe all the cells in your body are just a bunch of robots under command by the mystery forces of life?)
Anyways, to conclude this rant, I will leave you with another seemingly random thought, but on theme. I think algorithms are like digital rituals of artificial intelligent muscle memory.
Fascinating. As though our motions, our lines of code, our threads and stitches, our organizing of traffic on the road~ all methods for intelligence to remember itself.

Yes! A lot of memory iand information is stored on the body!
Beautifully put as always Blairsi. So funny that was I synchronously having this conversation with someone yesterday.
This is definitely a real phenomenon and it’s also how we access the different versions of ourselves in other timelines and dimensions.
This was a great read to start my morning, thank you very much.
